bad things about biodiesel - These Are The Fundamentals You Should Know

An excellent alternative to fossil fuel is biodiesel. Biodiesel is one of the most thoroughly tested alternative fuels on the market.

Although diesel engines accept the pure form of biodiesel, it is still best to get some upgrades if you are considering using 100% biodiesel. If you are unsure if making biodiesel is something you want to do you might try finding someone close by who is already making it. There is still a need to improve the processing method and its quality.

Only diesel engines that have natural rubber parts instead of synthetic rubber parts cannot use biodiesel, but these engines are not as common as the engines that can use the biodiesel. There is also ongoing research into using sewage grow algae which is then used in the refining process. Because it is also a naturally oxygenated fuel and contains very little sulfur and aromatics it is an extremely clean burning fuel.

Biodiesel will gel in very cold temperatures. So, is biodiesel good or bad for the environment?
